Dr. Ofeldt was born and raised in the Jersey Shore area. He currently resides at the Jersey Shore with his wife Erin, son Christian, cat Milo, and his two pups Arlo and Leo. He specializes in sports medicine, musculoskeletal deformities, and post-traumatic and cosmetic surgical reconstruction. Dr. Ofeldt evaluates and treats the entire spectrum of foot and ankle conditions, including sprains, fractures, joint disorders, sports injuries, deformity correction, lower extremity limb salvage, and wound care.
He has expertise in managing conditions with conservative care and only uses surgical intervention when appropriate. He holds several advanced certifications, including Comprehensive Internal Fixation/Reconstructive Surgery of the Foot and Ankle and Foot and Ankle Arthroscopy. As part of his residency, Dr. Ofeldt completed training at the Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopedics in Baltimore, Maryland with special emphasis placed on the treatment of pediatric lower extremity deformities.
Dr. Ofeldt earned his bachelor’s degree from Stockton University in New Jersey. He then received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in Independence, Ohio, before completing his residency at Inspira Health Medical Center in New Jersey with an emphasis on reconstructive lower extremity surgery, sports medicine, advanced wound care, and trauma. While he is not caring for patients, Dr. Ofeldt is spending time with family and friends. His interests include surfing, running, swimming, and relaxing at the beach
